What is Loomia?
Loomia helps you catalog clothing, build outfits, plan a calendar, and review wardrobe insights—on your device.
Do I need an account?
No. Loomia is offline-first and does not use a Loomia account. Your wardrobe stays on your device.
What are the main tabs?
Wardrobe (Items, Outfits, Collections), Style, and Calendar. Insights and Settings are available from the toolbar/gear.
How do I add clothing?
In the main wardrobe tab tap + → Item. You can take a photo or upload one. Background removal runs automatically on your device.
What if background removal looks wrong?
Use Redo for alternate analysis, or Revert to the original photo. Tricky shots sometimes need this. Using a plain, highly contrasting background will help.
Are my photos uploaded for AI analysis?
No. Background removal and clothing suggestions run entirely on your device. Photos are not sent for analysis.
What can I track on an item?
Name, brand, category, subcategory, material, size, seasons, colors, tags, price, source, date added, pros/cons, notes, shopping URL, favorites, and wear stats (including cost-per-wear).
What is Archive?
Archive moves items out of your active wardrobe without deleting them. You can filter between Wardrobe and Archived, and unarchive later.
What does the Style tab do?
It shuffles outfit ideas from your wardrobe. Free includes the Top, bottom, and shoes layout. Premium unlocks more presets and Custom layout.
What are Collections?
Collections (Premium) group items and outfits—either manually or dynamically with season/color/tag filters.
What is the Wish List?
Wish List items (Premium) are pieces you want but don’t own yet. They’re kept out of main analytics/calendar until you move them into your wardrobe. This way you can still style potential new additions to see if they earn their place without affecting wardrobe stats.
What are Insights?
Insights show wardrobe composition, usage, and archive stats (wear, longevity, cost-per-wear, versatility, and more). Full detail is a Premium feature.
What’s free vs Loomia Premium?
Free includes limited items (100) and outfits (20), core Style, and full backup export/import. Premium unlocks unlimited items/outfits, more Style options, Collections, Wish List, Insights, on-me photos, and advanced calendar/filter features. A trial may be offered when available.
What happens if I cancel Premium?
Your data stays on the device. Free-tier limits may apply again after Premium ends; existing items and outfits remain.
What is an on-me photo?
An optional photo of you wearing the look (Premium). Background removal also runs on-device, separate from the outfit canvas.
What’s the difference between an Outfit and a Day Plan?
An Outfit is a saved look—a reusable blueprint you can edit anytime without changing your history. A Day Plan is a log of what you actually wore on a specific date, so wear counts and history stay accurate.
If I put an Outfit on the calendar, what happens?
That creates a Day Plan for that date, usually linked to the Outfit. Wear is tracked from the Day Plan, not from simply saving the Outfit.
If I edit an Outfit, do past calendar days change?
No. Editing an Outfit updates the template for future use. It does not retroactively change past Day Plans.
If I edit a Day Plan, does the Outfit change?
Not unless you choose to. When you save, you can:
keep changes on that day only,
update the original Outfit, or
save as a new Outfit and link the Day Plan to it.
How do “Times worn” and “Last worn” work for Outfits?
They count Day Plans linked to that Outfit. Items worn on the calendar without linking that Outfit don’t count there. Last worn is the most recent linked day.
Can I create a Day Plan without using an Outfit?
Yes. On Calendar, use New day plan to build a plan from scratch. You can later Save as outfit if you want to reuse it.
Can I have more than one Day Plan on the same day?
Yes. A day can have multiple Day Plans; you can reorder them and choose which one is the day highlight (primary preview).
How do I back up my wardrobe?
Settings → Data Backup → Export Wardrobe Backup. This creates a zip with your data and photos. Export/import is available to everyone.
How do I restore or move to a new phone?
Export a backup, transfer the file (e.g. Files or iCloud Drive), then Import Wardrobe Backup on the new device. Import can replace existing data—confirm carefully.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Danger Zone → Clear All Wardrobe Data. You’ll be asked to confirm twice. This is intentional and destructive.
